The confrontation of anger to find peace; pain and suffering to find joy. The Struggle of the soul to free itself from the physical and carnal. The ascent of the soul from the murkiness of tribal constriction to celestial freedom. An investigation of the fundamental necessity of darkness to expose light. A light that is lit as much from within as without. An illumination that transfigures fear, loneliness, cruelty, and pain into a strange kind of beauty. |
